Siena Hotel, Spa, and Casino, one of Reno's
newest properties, is situated on the south
shore of the Truckee River (just across from the main casino district). The location along with the resort's luxurious atmosphere offer
guests the best of two worlds: while the electrifying downtown casino area is only a short
walk away, the serene River and wooded Riverwalk shields Siena from the hustle and bustle, so
that patrons can enjoy a more intimate and relaxed stay if they desire it.
Siena Casino - At 23,000 square feet, Siena's
Tuscan countryside themed casino is
smaller and more intimate compared to its rivals across the river. It is also usually much quieter.
Stone pillars, archways
and country frescos create the ancient Tuscan look and add a sense of warmth to the environment.
In contrast, the slots and video poker are very much up-to-date; their sounds fill the space
with stimulation and anticipation.
Besides machines, Siena also has table games (Single Deck Blackjack, 10x Odds Craps, Baccarat, Roulette, Pai Gow,
and Three Card Poker), and a small but comfortable Sport Book.
After a more modern version of the Reno Arch was erected on Virginia Street,
the old arch was moved to Lake Street next to Siena Hotel and the Truckee River.
Dining at Siena Hotel, Spa, and Casino -
The Contrada Café, which is open 24 hours a day, is a casual restaurant with an open
kitchen and live-fire oven. Specialties include sausages, rotisserie cooked meats, brick-oven pizza, and a large salad bar.
Lexie's is a contemporary Italian restaurant with an open kitchen and views of the Truckee River. They
specialize in fresh seafood and organic beef. They are open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday Brunch.
Enoteca is named after the Italian word for "wine cellar". They offer 35 wines by the glass, plus a variety of appetizers.

Siena's 185 rooms and 29 suites are well-appointed and range in size from 300 to 1200
square feet. Most have
river or mountain views, and they are considered among the nicest and largest hotel rooms in the
Reno area.
The Italian theme, specifically Tuscany, is carried throughout the hotel and it seems to
work. Other aspects also contribute to Siena's upscale image. For example, guests sit
down to check-in in a setting that is quite different from most hotel lobbies.
Rooms feature custom fabrics, luxurious linens, down comforters, in-room safe, coffee maker, refrigerator, Bath & Body Works amenities, complimentary
wireless and high-speed internet access, hairdryer, ironing board, a desk, and speaker phones.
For more lavish accomodations, the Floor dei Nobili is a premium, all-suite area.
